I loved the 3 swans on this candle stick, and at just $3, I couldn't resist bringing it home.

However, I didn’t love the color. Luckily, I knew the perfect way to bring this candlestick back to life.

I decided to do a paint wash technique using Fusion Paint in the color Raw Silk and a Fusion Mister Bottle filled with water.

First, spray the entire piece with water using a Fusion Misting bottle.

Then, using a STAALMEESTER Pointed Sash Brush, paint one coat of the Fusion Paint in the color Raw Silk over the entire piece.

And that’s it!

…seriously! How awesome is that? The new paint brought this piece back to life in only a few minutes.
